Terms of Service

WORLD tracks who is wearing, fronting and partnering with fashion and beauty brands, and helps you find related products, archive pieces and alternatives. You can browse much of WORLD without an account.

Eligibility: you must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. Minimum age for an account: To be confirmed before public launch. WORLD is a general-audience service and isn’t directed at children.

An account needs only an email address and a password. Keep your password private and tell us if you think your account has been accessed without permission. You’re responsible for activity on your account. One account per person; please don’t share your login.

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Privacy & your data.

WORLD is beta software. Features may change or be removed, coverage is incomplete, information may occasionally be wrong, and the service may be interrupted. See the Beta notice.

WORLD (free) includes the live feed, people and brand pages, relationship history, Shop the Moment, alternatives and Drops, with up to 10 follows and 30 saves.

WORLD+ adds unlimited follows and saves, every alternative with additional price filters, and your full My WORLD feed. WORLD+ costs $9.99 / month or $79 / year (prices in US dollars; applicable taxes may be added at checkout).

Founding WORLD+ is a one-time payment of $19 for 3 months of WORLD+. It does not renew and you won’t be charged again. It isn’t lifetime access: when the 3 months end, your account returns to the free plan unless you choose WORLD+.

Monthly and yearly WORLD+ plans renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Before you subscribe, checkout shows the price and renewal period. You can cancel any time from Profile → Your plan → Manage plan; you keep WORLD+ until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

Payments are processed by Stripe. WORLD never receives or stores your card number. If a renewal payment fails, access may continue for a short time while payment is retried, then ends.

Refunds: Refund rules to be confirmed with counsel. Where the law gives you a right to cancel or to a refund, those rights apply. Contact us if you believe you’re entitled to a refund.

If we change WORLD+ prices, we’ll tell you in advance and the change will apply from your next renewal.

WORLD shows products from third-party brands, retailers and archive / vintage sellers. WORLD is not the seller and doesn’t take part in your purchase. When you click Shop, you go to the seller’s own site, and your purchase is governed by that seller’s terms, shipping, returns and privacy policy.

Prices and availability come from sellers and can change at any time. A piece shown as available may already be sold; WORLD shows when it last checked. Prices are shown in the seller’s currency and aren’t converted.

WORLD does not authenticate archive, vintage or resale items and makes no guarantee about their authenticity, condition or description — that’s between you and the seller. WORLD doesn’t guarantee any seller’s performance.

Alternatives (“Same WORLD”, “Lower price”, “Archive”) are suggestions based on stated attributes such as category, colour or material. They aren’t claims that items are identical or of equal quality. When WORLD links a product to a moment, it says how sure it is (“The original” or “Closest match”).

Some links may earn WORLD a commission if you buy. When a link is an affiliate link, WORLD will say so near the link. Commissions never change WORLD’s cultural tracking or how moments are counted.

Please don’t:

• try to access accounts, data or systems you aren’t authorised to access, or get around WORLD+ access controls;
• scrape account-only or private information, or run automated tools that overload WORLD;
• probe, scan or test WORLD’s security outside a good-faith report to us;
• commit fraud, misuse payments or chargebacks, or impersonate others;
• interfere with the service or use it for anything unlawful.

WORLD’s software, design and compilation are owned by WORLD. Brand names, logos, product images and editorial photographs belong to their owners; WORLD shows them to identify products and moments and links to their sources. If you believe material on WORLD infringes your rights, see Contact for takedown requests.

If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve WORLD without owing you anything for it. That doesn’t give us ownership of anything else you create.

WORLD links to articles, brand sites and sellers we don’t control. We aren’t responsible for their content, products or practices.

We may change or discontinue features (it’s a beta). If we change these terms materially, we’ll ask you to accept the new version before you use account features. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; you can stop using WORLD and delete your account at any time.

WORLD is provided “as is” during the beta. To the extent permitted by law, we don’t guarantee that information is complete or error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted, and we aren’t liable for indirect losses or for purchases you make from third-party sellers. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can’t be excluded by law.
